Reserve Hose Co. proudly protects approximately 15,000 people living in an area of about 11 square miles in the town of West Seneca, NY. We operate out of 2 stations, protecting a primarily residential area. Our fire department is a public department whose members are 100% volunteer.
The mission and purpose of the Reserve Hose Fire Company is to prevent loss of life and to control or reduce the loss of property by applying all of our professional knowledge and resources. We will accomplish this mission through fire suppression, rescue, first aid, code enforcement, public education, fire investigation and professional development training. It is our number one priority to provide the best fire and medical services to all the citizens and visitors of our community.
The firefighting service has a long tradition with the Erie County Fair. This year, outside of the Firemen’s Building, a special ceremony showcased one firefighter for each of the twelve Fair days. The individuals chosen for this honor best exemplify the positive characteristics of a member with a notable record of service and achievements. Reserve’s own Michael Kluck was one of the firefighters celebrated this year. In front of family, friends and fellow members of the firefighting community, Mike’s incredible history of service was shared. Congratulations Chief Kluck!
National Night Out 2025 was celebrated on Tuesday, August 5th, as a national event to promote community-police partnerships and neighborhood safety. Communities across the country, including our own town of West Seneca, New York, hosted events such as festivals, barbecues, and block parties to bring residents and law enforcement together in positive settings. The goal is to build stronger community relationships and create safer neighborhoods.All six WS fire companies participated in this year’s event.
