In September, 2005, Reserve took delivery of
a new aerial device. The truck, designated Reserve 6, was
manufactured by Sutphen Corporation of Amlin, Ohio. It is a
100 foot mid-mount tower ladder with pre-piped waterway.
The
truck was built on a custom Sutphen chassis and is equipped with a 1,500
gallon per minute, single stage Hale pump. The truck has a 400
gallon tank and is equipped with 115 feet of ground ladders. The rig
can accommodate 1,000 feet of large diameter hose and carries an
assortment of truck company and rescue equipment. Typical truck company
operations include forcible entry, search and rescue, ventilation and
salvage operations.
