A 1975 American LaFrance built on a Pioneer chassis featured a 55 foot snorkel. The truck was equipped with an American LaFrance 1,250 GPM pump, a 500 gallon tank and was powered by a Detroit diesel. The rig was refurbished by R.D. Murray in 1993 and received a new tank and compartments.  It sat 5 firefighters, 2 of which sit in the open cab jump seats. This piece was retired in September of 2005 when it was replaced by a 100' mid-mount Stuphen tower ladder.
