1/25/08 - Garage Fire on Lisa Ann

Quick work by firefighters saved a house on Lisa Ann this afternoon. Reserve & Vigilant were dispatched for a garage fire on Lisa Ann late this afternoon. Reserve 9-1 called on location with smoke from the residence and assumed command. Reserve Engine 2 arrived first due and laid a 1 3/4 line through the front door....... more

12/24/07 - Reserve F.A.S.T. called for fire with Winchester

Around 17:40 hours this evening an initial alarm was struck for a reported house fire off Indian Church Road. Companies dispatched on the alarm were Winchester, Seneca Hose and Union. Winchester 9-1 confirmed a kitchen fire which brought Reserve's F.A.S.T. team to the scene. The fire was quickly knocked down and some extensive overhaul was completed. More Pictures here...

9/7/07 - Reserve alerted for MVA (Motor Vehicle Accident)

Reserve 9 on location at 17:05 hours with a two car MVA, one car into a telephone pole. Crews tended to two patients of the accident at Union and Michael roads this evening. Both drivers ultimately signed their own releases and were not transported. 8/29/07 - Reserve special called for fire on Seneca St.

Reserve Ladder Tower 6 was called in by Seneca St. Command (Seneca Hose 9-1) this evening to assist with a small fire in an occupied 2 1/2 story residence. Initial reports were of smoke coming from the house which alerted Seneca Hose, Vigilant and Winchester around 8:00 PM. Crews made an aggressive attack accompanied by ventilation to find the apparent source of the fire in the basement. The fire is under investigation.

8/24/07 - Reserve F.A.S.T. called for fire in Blasdell

Reserve's Firefighter Assist team was put into action tonight at a large commercial fire in Blasdell. Due to the large 200' x 100' commercial structure, two F.A.S.T. teams were requested. Reserve responded and remained on location throughout the firefight. The temperatures and humidity created a heat index well into the 90's. The fire was placed under control around 9:00 PM.

4/28/07 - Stubborn structure fire on Orchard Park Road

Reserve 9-2 called on location with Heavy fire from the rear of a vacant house on Orchard Park Road in the early hours on Monday morning. A quick knock down of the building and a van parked in the rear was made by crews from Reserve. The vacant house made of heavy timbers had numerous spots where fire was hiding. Given the vacant nature of the building crews had to work vastly from the outside of the structure to extinguish the blaze.. more.......
