Orchard Park Road Structure Fire - April 2007

.

Reserve 9-2 called on location with Heavy fire from the rear of a vacant house on Orchard Park Road in the early hours on Monday morning. A quick knock down of the building and a van parked in the rear was made by crews from Reserve. The vacant house made of heavy timbers had numerous spots where fire was hiding.  Given the vacant nature of the building crews had to work vastly from the outside of the structure to extinguish the blaze.

Crews from Seneca Hose and Vigilant were also on the first alarm assignment. Newton Abbott provided their F.A.S.T. on location and  Union filled in standby at Reserve's East & West station. Crews worked for several hours knocking out hot spots and overhauling the structure.
